Mitsubishi has made its double-cab L200 pick-up more user-friendly with the Long Bed version. The load area is 180mm longer than the standard model. The extra length is in the rear overhang and not an extended wheelbase. The extra power is noticeable and welcome, while the L200 remains one of the best-driving pick-ups with a decent interior to boot.
The L200 Warrior's superior specifications add a whole new dimension to the hard working L200 Double Cab. Stylish extras make it stand out in the street with electric windows all round, including the one into the cargo bed — electrically operated, heated door mirrors and climate controlled air conditioning make it good to sit in too. But the Warrior is more than a handsome face. Traction control and Super Select 4WD, with its option of an on-road 4WD mode, make for superior handling, whilst the engine upgrade to 175 bhp adds extra oomph and cruise control makes cruising even easier.
