The legendary new Volkswagon Golf has been refined throughout. The efficient new engines are the safest and quietest and technologically advanced that Volkswagon have ever built.

The interior of the New Golf comes with 'climatic' air conditioning with semi-automatic control and a cooled glovebox. Put that alongside height adjustable seats for both the driver and passenger and a fully adjustable steering column Volkswagon have designed this new range with comfort in mind.

Body coloured bumpers, front and rear come as standard and stylish alloy wheels have been fitted as standard on the SE and GT models. Lightweight and durable they improve the VW Golfs handling and looks.

Rain sensors also come as standard on the SE, and are optional on the S and GT models. The rain sensors detect how much rain is on your windscreen and adjust the wipers accordingly. You can also add the option of Park Assist which enables parking at the touch of a button.

The Volkswagon Golf is available in three trim levels:

Euro NCAP have given the Volkswagon Golf a 5 star rating for adult occupancy. NCAP stated this in its results. "The Golf scored maximum points in the pole test. In the side impact, it lost a fraction of a point for chest protection. Since Euro NCAP's tests, a clip securing the side airbag has been upgraded by Volkswagen and is fitted to all customers' cars" and for its child's protections "Based on the dummy readings from the dynamic tests, the Golf scored maximum points for its protection of both infants"

The front and second row seats are equipped with 7 airbags, Anti Braking System (ABS) which helps prevent the wheels locking under emergency braking and Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) which uses sensors to monitor the progress of your wheels, in short to stop your skidding before it starts.
