Ford have described the new Ford Fiesta range as "The new Fiesta is a vivid expression of all that is inspirational in design today. The 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre TDCi Duratorq engines have been redesigned to give improved responsiveness, economy and emissions. The 1.6 litre engine also comes with or without a coated diesel particulate filter (C-DPF) that means the exhaust particulates are automatically burnt or cleaned off the filter as the engine runs. The specially calibrated 1.6-litre 90 PS TDCi engine with C-DPF is only available on the all new Fiesta ECOnetic.
If you prefer petrol, there is a series of light alloy, 16-valve powertrains that start with the economical 1.25-litre Duratec and increase in power up to the top-of-the-range 1.6 Ti-VCT, producing a mighty 120 PS. On the 1.4 engine only you have the choice between manual and automatic transmission.
The New Ford Fiesta range comes in an impressive range of models. They all come with Electric Power Assisted Steering, Driver's and front passenger's Airbags and Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force distribution as standard. NCAP gives the New Ford Fiesta an outstanding 5 star rating for adult occupancy and a 4 star rating for child occupancy. As optional extra's you can add rain sensing wipers, MP3 and USB connectors and park assist, making your drive that little bit easier.
The lead in model of the range includes Body coloured rear spoilers, bumpers and tailgate handle. Home safe headlights, tinted glass, Intelligent protection system, EBD and a CD Player.
Additional features include 15" wheels with 6-spoke covers, body coloured power heated door mirror housings, electric front windows and remote central locking
A small step up for the Style + which adds Smart Quickclear heated windscreen and Manual air conditioning
For the more sporty look, the Zetec adds headlights with chrome surround, chrome lower front grille surround, tailgate and belt line finisher. It has front fog lights and 15" 8-spoke alloy wheels to complete the sporty trim.
